Pastor Jamie & Virgy Centeno
Both our pastors have a heart to see families restored and whole. Jamie is a second generation pastor. He has worked with inner city youth and young adults with community not-for-profit organizations throughout his life. Jamie and his wife Virgy have received their Masters in Practical Ministry and Apostolic Leadership from Wagner University.
Jamie has authored several books including Heavolution, Milk & Honey, and Relationshift.

Our Story
In 2006, In The Light Philadelphia was born. Jamie returned to his hometown from Lancaster, PA as a restored son to the city he was broken for.
In The Light quickly became a place where religiously wounded and societal outcasts were experiencing the Father’s heart for their lives. Their discovery was that “they were born for so much more”. A decade later, God has used the church to revive and impact people’s lives through salvation, healing, and deliverance.
In The Light continues to advance the kingdom of God through loving those far from Christ while equipping the church to bring heaven here now.
